The Abourjilie in the USA
The Abourjilie branch started with Elias/Geryes/Bechara Abourjilie (1 January 1894 - 14 December 1955).
He immigrated to the USA in 1913. He settled in Virginia and married Lois Okala Vaughan. They had six children. His mother was Katbet Badran Abourjilie.
Elias was the first cousin of Spiridon Abou Rjeily, Patriarch Thedosius Abou Rjeily from 1958 to 1970.
